23 Dec 1824 Surgeon 21st (Royal North British) Fusiliers Regiment of Foot.
17 Aug 1832 Surgeon 35th (Royal Sussex) Regiment of Foot vice David Moyes MacGibbon who retired upon the half-pay of the Hospital Staff. The vacancy left in the 21st was filled up by Staff Surgeon Edward Pilkington who was recalled from half-pay.
4 Jan 1839 Appointed Staff Surgeon, vice Staff Surgeon Charles St John, promoted Assistant Inspector of Hospitals with local and temporary rank at Mauritius vice AIH Griffith Jones, who retired upon half-pay.
16 Feb 1844 Local Deputy Inspector General of Hospitals with local rank in China.
28 Aug 1844 Died in Hong Kong. The vacancy on the Staff was filled by Staff Surgeon of the First Class John Kinnis MD, who became Deputy Inspector General of Hospitals, with local rank in China. Consequently, on 17 Jan 1845, Surgeon Archibald Shanks 55th Foot, was promoted Staff Surgeon of the First Class vice Kennis, and Assistant Surgeon George Martin 73rd Foot became Surgeon 55th Foot vice Shanks.
