25 Mar 1805 Surgeon 79th (Cameron Highlanders) Regiment of Foot.
1808 Served in the Peninsular War (1808-14).
17 Aug 1809 Staff Surgeon. Served at Walcheren.
26 May 1814 Deputy Inspector of Hospitals.
1815 Served at Waterloo. Was attached to the HQs of the Duke of Wellington as his private physician.
3 Dec 1818 Placed on half-pay with rank of Inspector of Hospitals.
27 Apr 1820 Returned to full-pay.
19 June 1820 Arrived at Malta vice Deputy Inspector of Hospitals John Warren.
20 Dec 1820 Left Malta on sick leave.
June 1821 Sick leave expired.
Nov 1821 Placed on half-pay and struck off the strength of the garrison.
