23 Sep 1823 Arrived from Gibraltar.
In charge of the Ordnance hospital and assisted in the ophthalmia hospitals during the illness of staff assistant surgeon Daniel Owen Davies.
Oct 1823 Took over the superintendance of the ophthalmia hospital from staff surgeon James Dillon Tully.
13 Sep 1824 Retired to half-pay.
13 Mar 1824 Baptism of Margaret Elizabeth Rancland, daughter of Surgeon Mark Alexander Rancland RA and Margaret Elizabeth born 30 December 1823.
