25 Dec 1823 Assistant Surgeon 95th (Derbyshire) Regiment of Foot.
16 Feb 1824 Arrived from England.
Jan 1825 Left for England in charge of invalids.
Returned on 17 June 1825.
1826 Assistant Surgeon 95th Foot.
24 May – Aug 1826 On duty at Corfu.
1827 Assistant Surgeon 95th Foot.
29 Dec 1827 Left for England on six months leave and joined the regimental depot.
3 May 1833 Exchanged to Staff.
2 Aug 1833 Aged 44 years. Promoted surgeon after 22 years service. Had served between 18 and 19 years on full pay before gaining promotion.
Appointed surgeon 11th (North Devonshire) Regiment following the death of Surgeon Thomas Moore on 19 July 1833. The vacancy left on the Staff was filled by Gentleman Kenneth McCaskill who was commissioned staff assistant surgeon on 2 August 1833.
27 June 1845 Retired to half-pay.
