16 June 1815 Hospital Assistant.
1 Aug 1817 Conferred the degree of Doctor in Medicine (MD) by the Senatus Academicus of the University of Edinburgh after having gone through the appointed examination, and publicly defended his inaugural dissertation on De Hepatitide.
27 May 1824 Assistant Surgeon 60th (Duke of York's Own Rifle Corps).
26 Oct 1834 Arrived from Gibraltar.
1835 Assistant Surgeon 60th (The King's Royal Rifle Corps).
July 1836 Left for Corfu.
7 June 1839 Promoted Surgeon 60th (The King's Royal Rifle Corps), vice Surgeon Francis Leigh who died at Gibraltar on 16 May 1839. The vacancy in 60th Foot was filled by Staff Assistant Surgeon Joshua Paynter.
21 Apr 1840 Died at Corfu. His widow and two children were supported by financial contributions from the Army Medical Officers Benevolent Fund.
