29 Mar 1842 Appointed Assistant Surgeon 58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment of Foot vice Assistant Surgeon George Kincairn Pitcairn appointed to 4th Light Dragoons vice Assistant Surgeon John Stewart Graves promoted Staff Surgeon of the Second Class.

7 Oct 1842 Staff Assistant Surgeon.

7 Aug 1846 Staff Surgeon 2nd Class.

22 Dec 1848 Surgeon 34th (Cumberland) Regiment of Foot.

27 Jan 1854 Surgeon 14th (Buckinghamshire) Regiment of Foot.

Malta 13 May 1854 Arrived from Ireland.

Malta 12 Jan 1855 Promoted Staff Surgeon 1st Class vice Staff Surgeon Alexander Thomas who became DIGH. The vacancy left in 14th Foot was filled by the promotion of Assistant Surgeon William Kelman Chalmers 18th Foot.

Malta 21 Feb 1855 Left Malta.

18 Oct 1856 Reduced to half-pay.

7 Oct 1857 Returned to full-pay.
