Malta 1812 Detached on duty with the 2nd Battalion.

25 Oct 1812 – Apr 1814 Prisoner of War in France.

Apr – Oct 1814 On duty in England.

Oct 1814 – Jan 1816 On duty in the Netherlands and France.

18 June 1815 Served at Waterloo with 2nd/44th Foot. Part of the Fifth Division (Lt Gen Sir Thomas Picton), 9th Bde (Maj Gen Dennis Pack). 9th Bde consisted of: 3rd/1st Foot, 1st/42nd Foot, 2nd/44th Foot, 1st/92nd Foot.

Jan 1816 – 13 May 1818 On duty in England.

28 Mar 1816 Appointed Surgeon Royal York Rangers.

8 July 1816 Appointed Surgeon 38th (1st Staffordshire) Regiment of Foot, through exchange.

14 May 1818 Retired to half-pay 60th Foot.
