25 Apr 1903 Promoted Captain. In South Africa, from where he returned to Malta in Oct 1903.
At Station Hospital Fort Chambray Gozo.

11 Aug 1904 Returned from leave.
1905 Officer-in-charge of troops Fort Ricasoli.
Aug 1905 To Crete.
12 Sep 1905 Home leave.
1909–1911 Served in India.
8 Apr 1911 Retired.
7 Oct 1915 Died at Wolston near Coventry, at the age of 40 years, after a short illness.
