1888–1889 Served with the third Burmese Expedition.
On 14 Nov 1885 British troops invaded Burma to safeguard their teak monopolies in Lower Burma. On 1 Jan 1886, they annexed Burma, but resistance to British rule continued till 1889.
3 Oct 1896 Arrived from Woolwich England.
1897 On duty at Cottonera Hospital.
Resident at The Great Britain Hotel Valletta.
1898 On garrison duty.
28 July 1898 Major.
4 Mar 1899 Embarked for Madras.
1902 Served in South Africa.
28 July 1906 Lieutenant Colonel.
31 Dec 1914 Retired.
