1898 Served in the Sudan Campaign.
Jan 1902 Arrived at Malta. In charge of troops Floriana District.
6 Apr Baptism of Franklyn Henry Glenn Allen, born on 1 March 1902, son of Elsie Annette and Major Sydney Glenn Allen resident at Mtarfa.
6 Sep 1903 Left for Woolwich England.
1 Aug 1905 Lieutenant Colonel RAMC.
28 July 1914 Start of the Great War.
Served as Assistant Director of Medical Services (ADMS) 27th Division in France, but was invalided home.
President of the Traveling Medical board Eastern Command and later was ADMS at Shorncliffe.
1 Mar 1915 Colonel L/RAMC.
15 June 1919 Retired. Post retirement settled at Folkestone where he took an active interest in municipal affairs.
1921 Elected to the Town Council Folkestone. Was a member of the Finance, Watch, Health, and Education Committees of the council.
4 June 1924 Died suddenly at a public meeting at Folkestone.
