Malta 1898 During the unrest in Kandia, Major Fletcher was sent to Malta from Gibraltar with an X-Ray apparatus for the benefit of any wounded who might be brought to Malta. The apparatus proved to be of considerable benefit and Maj Fletcher gave lectures at the Station Hospital Valletta on the working of the apparatus.1
