8 July – 15 July 1806 On duty in England.
16 July 1806 – 5 Sep 1813 Served in Sicily, Calabria, Egypt, Ionian Islands, and Malta from where he embarked for the Peninsula.
7 Dec 1809 Appointed Assistant Surgeon Royal Corsican Rangers.
22 Aug 1811 Appointed Assistant Surgeon 44th (East Essex) Regiment of Foot. Moved from the Corsican Rangers to 44th Foot vice Jones Griffith promoted surgeon in the Sicilian Regiment.
Malta Mar 1812 Arrived at Malta.
Malta 23 Mar 1813 Embarked for Sicily on duty with five companies that left Malta on 4 July 1812.
6 Sep 1813 – 28 May 1814 Served in the Peninsular War.
29 May – 13 Oct 1814 On duty in North America. Served in the American War (1812 – 15) and was present at the Battles of Bladesburg (24 Aug 1814).
14 Oct 1814 – May 1815 Served in the the West Indies, Jamaica. Was present at the Battle of New Orleans (8 Jan 1815).
19 Jan 1815 Appointed Surgeon 85th (Bucks Volunteers) (Duke of York's Own Light Infantry) Regiment.
May 1815 – 24 Feb 1816 On duty in England.
17 Aug 1815 Surgeon 10th (North Lincolnshire) Regiment of Foot by exchange.
25 Feb 1816 – 24 Sep 1818 On half-pay.
25 Sep 1818 Appointed Surgeon 33th (1st York, West Riding) Regiment of Foot form the half-pay list.
25 Sep 1818 – 16 Dec 1821 On duty in England.
17 Dec 1821 – May 1823 On duty in Jamaica.
May – 8 Oct 1823 On duty in England.
9 Oct 1823 Retired to half-pay as surgeon 69th Regiment.
