1826 Voluntary attendance on the wounded officers and men of the Sybille Frigate in quarantine at the Lazaretto Malta. In 1826 the Sybille was involved in a hard fought engagement with pirates off Candia on the island of Crete. It returned to Portsmouth from quarantine in Malta on 27 Oct 1826.
4 Mar 1827 Returned to England on four months leave.
24 Nov 1829 Staff Surgeon Robert Scott MD recalled from half-pay and appointed Surgeon to the Forces.
