18 Apr 1829 At Balnafettack, Inverness shire Assistant Surgeon James Alexander Ore 95th Regiment, married Margaret Grant, only daughter of Lockhart Kinlock Esq.
23 July 1829 Assistant Surgeon 8th Light Dragoons vice Assistant Surgeon Joseph Farnden promoted surgeon to the Royal Hibernian Military School. The vacancy left in 95th Foot was filled by Assistant Surgeon Richard Noble Starr 48th Foot.
6 Dec 1839 Promoted Surgeon 79th (Cameron Highlanders) Regiment of Foot vice Surgeon John Lorimer who died on 17 Nov 1839. The vacancy in 8th Light Dragoons was filled by Assistant Surgeon Thomas Coke Gaulter 35th Foot. Consequently, the vacancy in 35th Foot was filled by Staff Assistant Surgeon William Augustus Heise, and Gentleman George Murray Webster was commissioned Staff Assistant Surgeon vice Heise.
