26 Jan 1815 Assistant Surgeon 12th (East Suffolk) Regiment of Foot.
24 Feb 1825 Appointed Surgeon to the Civil Hospital Gibraltar. Reduced to the half-pay 18th Foot.
10 June 1830 Recalled from half-pay 18th Foot to be Staff Assistant Surgeon vice Staff Assistant Surgeon Richard Poole appointed Assistant Surgeon 32nd Foot.
30 Dec 1834 Age 44 years. Promoted surgeon after 22 years service. Had served between 21 and 22 years on full pay before gaining promotion.
Promoted surgeon 60th (The King's Royal Rifle Corps) vice Surgeon Alexander Melvin who moved to the Staff.
On leave till 28 Feb 1835.

Malta 1836 Surgeon 60th (The King's Royal Rifle Corps).
30 June 1843 Retired to half-pay.
Employed while on the retired list as surgeon to the garrison Fort George, and afterwards of Weedon Military Prison.
