1895 Took part in the relief of Chitral.

1897–1898 Served in the Malakand, North West Frontier, India.

1900 Served in China.

28 July 1903 Promoted Major RAMC.

Dec 1903 Arrived at Malta.

1904 Officer in charge Military Hospital Cottonera.

Aug 1905 Home leave.

Mar 1913 Arrived from Gibraltar.

Officer in charge of the Detachment RAMC Coy Mtarfa and of the Military Hospital Mtarfa.

15 Sep 1913 Promoted Lieutenant Colonel.

1914 Officer in charge Military Hospital Mtarfa.

28 July 1914 Start of the Great War.

29 July 1914 Wired at Care of Mess. Westward London Region to rejoin his unit in Malta from leave immediately.

4 Aug 1914 Britain declares war on Germany.

1915 Served in the Hospital Ship Valdivia.

1915–1917 Served in France.

5 Jan 1919 Placed on half pay on account of ill health.

11 Nov 1919 Retired due to ill health.
